Mr Jones is a young parrot that belongs to a man called Ted. They live in a flat in town. One day Ted leaves the window open and Mr Jones flies away. Ted can’t find Mr Jones so he puts up notices about the lost parrot. The parrot flies all over, but then he gets hungry and lost and he can’t find his way home. He eventually lands on an old lady’s balcony. She feeds him and phones Ted to come and fetch him because she has seen one of the notices Ted put up.
