Description
Ntsiki has been away from school because she has been ill. She is returning to school on her birthday and the children are planning a surprise for her. They want to make the biggest birthday cake in the world. The main theme of this story is that of process – something that is done in a certain time to achieve an aim – in this case the baking of a cake. Getting the ingredients, measuring, mixing, heating the oven and baking the cake for the necessary length of time are the main elements of this story.
