This book is a collection of three plays, a story of love and heroism.
In one, young lovers prefer to die rather than compromise their
principles and please the king. The play also depicts the age-old
confl ict between the young and the old.
The Paper Bride explores the cause of the chauvinistic attitudes of
modern African men.
Shadows is a psychoanalytical drama about a 17-year-old girl’s state
of mind. Her tormented subconscious state is represented by the
dialogue between herself and a friend.
