This collection offers a richly diverse range of texts from a host of countries including Afghanistan, Iraq, Japan and Rwanda. The texts are by turn inspirational, thought-provoking and shocking, and help us understand who we are and where we come from in today’s global community. They are arranged in four themed sections: People and relationships; Viloence, war and death; Personal freedom and Cultural traditions.
