Love, power and revenge: Two stories from Shakespeare’ summarises the stories of two of Shakespeare’s tragedies: Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth. Romeo and Juliet are two teenagers who are in love, but their love is forbidden as their families hate one another. This is the story of how they fight to be together but their actions lead to tragedy for both families. Macbeth is a play about murder, death, greed and power. Macbeth and his wife Lady Macbeth commit terrible crimes to ensure that Macbeth becomes King of Scotland.
