Sipho’s New Home

This is based on a true story. A young boy feels sad because his family is going to leave the house his father built and move to a new home. His friend helps him to deal with this by suggesting that he takes a photograph of his old house and by pointing out how much more comfortable the new house will be for the family. Depending on the reading level of the learners, you may choose to read this story aloud to the learners or let them try and read it alone.
