A chief has to decide which of his three sons should be the next chief. He sends them up into the hills to see an old woman. On the way they meet a woman and an old man who ask for their help. The older and the middle sons dismiss their requests, but the youngest son is willing to help them. The father decides to make him chief, because he shows the most kindness.
