Information technology research A practical guide for computer science and informatics

This book is targeted at senior students in any of the many branches of Information Technology, including Computer Science, Informatics and Information Systems. It is intended to introduce the students to the operation of the research process in these subjects. It highlights the essential aspects of various research methods. The exercises at the end of the chapters are intended to encourage students to learn from published reports; to stimulate them to think about applying each method to a research problem of their own; and to point them to related topics that were not covered in the chapter.
