SHUTERS JUNIOR DICTIONARY (ENGLISH)

The selection of words for this dictionary relied
on extensive research done by Prof. J vorster into
the degree of familiarity of South African primary
school pupils – both fi rst and second language
speakers of english – with a list of approximately
7 000 words spanning the primary curriculum.
Illustrations help to describe diffi cult words and
concepts. Six full page topic-related illustrations
at the back of the book are packed with helpful
vocabulary.
